Just ONE more week of construction! Besides all of the finish work going on in the master suite, the crew has been putting up the ceilings on the 1st & 2nd levels. There is sawdust EVERYWHERE! It will be so nice to clean my house and it stay that way for awhile; not to mention breathe clean air again.

Best Chicken Ever – 4 ½ out of 5 stars.
Mushroom Rice – a good local brand rice packet.
Pork and Beans – Luke found these at the store and insisted that we have them with dinner. They are a rare find here!
Steamed Broccoli with Dill Sauce – 4 ½ out of 5 stars.
Southern Peach Cobbler – 5 out of 5 stars! Our neighbors in San Gerardo gave us a sack of fresh peaches from their trees. This recipe used up almost half of them. I know I will be making this again before the week is over!
Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream – 4 ½ out of 5 stars. My own recipe – makes 1 ½ quarts.
